CBS News’ Lara Logan Assaulted During Egypt Protests
CBS News Chief Foreign Correspondent Separated From Her Crew And Brutally Assaulted on Day Mubarak Stepped Down

(CBSNews) On Friday, Feb. 11, the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS chief foreign correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a “60 Minutes” story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into frenzy.
In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.

Yeah big strong men… 200 men had to take a white woman from the security guards who were obviously worthless, then sexually molest her. To say that these 200 pitiful excuses for men are pigs would be an inexcusable insult to swine everywhere.
To the people who just stood around while this gang of swine molested and assaulted this woman… you are worse swine than the men who are guilty of this evil act.
To the handful of women and roughly 20 soldiers who were brave enough to drag these swine off her and take her to safety, my heart goes out to you and may you be blessed beyond measure.
To everyone who harmed this woman or stood around allowing it to happen, may you be flogged in public and buried to your heads in sand in a desert filled with scorpions and fire ants. When they are done with your worthless carcasses, you won’t be meeting 10 virgins each, you will be meeting the Angel of Death who will introduce you to the God of Abraham and the Lion of Judah – you will be judged for your crimes by one who is truly righteous and just and whom you won’t be able to bribe.
