Excerpt of above news story: How many Americans are targeted for assassination?
When The Washington Post’s Dana Priest first revealed (in passing) back in January that the Obama administration had compiled a hit list of American citizens targeted for assassination, she wrote that “as of several months ago, the CIA list included three U.S. citizens.” In April, both the Post and the NYT confirmed that the administration had specifically authorized the assassination of Anwar al-Awlaki. Today, The Washington Times’ Eli Lake has an interview with Obama’s top Terrorism adviser John Brennan in which Brennan strongly suggests that the number of U.S. citizens targeted for assassination could actually be “dozens”:

I’m too tired right now to get into it much …but you know how I think things are going down anyway. There may be dozens going down in a duck shoot, but, when they get all those hushed out, I feel certain it will be only a matter of time…Short time, before the massive majority hit the proverbial meet grinder also. Like I have said many times, and firmly believe based on a life time of observation; what the Blunderburgs, and Rockersmellers, and Svansburgers sitting on their pedestals apparently can’t see just beyond their ultimate crowd control plan…is when the “Small People” are gone…they’ll be no one left to buy their products. It’s just crazy. But, it is also written.
