God’s warnings for False Prophets

Ezekial 13
13Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I will make a stormy wind break out in my wrath, and there shall be a deluge of rain in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to make a full end.
14And I will break down the wall that you have smeared with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it falls, you shall perish in the midst of it, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
15Thus will I spend my wrath upon the wall and upon those who have smeared it with whitewash, and I will say to you, The wall is no more, nor those who smeared it, 16)the prophets of Israel who prophesied concerning Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her, when there was no peace, declares the Lord GOD.

I do love this God. Commands ‘thou shall not kill’ and completely contradicts this most important rule throghout the Bible.

    • Brit that’s the best you can come up with? Seriously?

I suppose you think it’s a bad thing for society to punish those that rob, steal, cheat, molest children, rape women, and murder innocent people too right?

    • I let any comment stand that’s not rude or offensive but please do try to be a little bit more intelligent and use your brain if you’re going to comment here again rather than just throwing an obvious red herring.

Perhaps you might even want to read the bible from cover to cover with your brain engaged before making comments such as this.

I apologise my comment was brief and sarcastic, I’m not usually. I’m not bigoted against Christianity, many things that are written I strongly agree with. I’m merely pointing out that in the Bible, God sanctions the killing of others, whilst condemning it in the ten commandments.

Whilst Jesus obviously taught us ways to live our lives that were simply amazing, I do think that is a massive flaw in the teachings. Is it sanctioning killing as long as you think God approves? I don’t know, you tell me because I don’t know how to interpret this without saying it’s a massive contradiction.

Of course I believe people should be punished, that’s just silly. But not by killing.

Sorry again if I offended you or others. I’m not usually so sarcastic or judgmental, but we all have our off days.
